We're exceptionally excited about the all-girl vampire flick We Are The Night. Specifically for championing the "in crowd" bloodsuckers club (we miss you vampire David Bowie!) and bringing back gorgeous vampire transformations that are reminiscent of Interview With a Vampire.

Watch our exclusive clip of the human-to-vampire changeover now!

The latest batch of vampire transformation scenes dominating pop culture have been slightly less inspired. Twilight's vampire venom causes the victim to convulse and repeatedly bite his/her lower lip. True Blood's transformation scene is much more elaborate. (How can we ever forget Jessica and Bill being buried in the ground as vampire punishment?) But we must admit our favorite vamp transformation has always been (and will always be) Anne Rice's Interview With The Vampire scene — specifically, watching Claudia change from deathly plague victim to curly-headed doll (which sadly added to her own eventual madness).

So imagine our surprise when we got this clip from the beautifully shot We Are The Night. The German flick channels old-school vampire glamour, with beautiful colors great pacing. You can't help but get excited about vampires all over again as the dye dances from the newbie vamps hair revealing a secret ginger girl!

Fingers crossed We Are The Night will bring back gorgeous art-house vampire flicks with a bite like The Hunger!

Here are a few stills from the foreign flick and the official synopsis:

A sexy, suspenseful and adrenaline pumping vampire film, WE ARE THE NIGHT is an edgy tale of a provocative gang of female vampires living large, making their own rules and leaving a merciless trail of blood. The film centers on a 20-year-old Berlin native LENA (Karoline Herfurth) who gets by as a petty thief. On one of her nightly job runs through an underground club, she meets 250-year-old LOUISE (Nina Hoss). Don't let her age fool you. LOUISE is a glamorous vixen, who is not only the owner of the club, but also the leader of an unusual all-female vampire trio - the other two members being wild child NORA (Anna Fischer) and elegant CHARLOTTE (Jennifer Ulrich). Louise falls head over heels in love with the scruffy Lena and bites her during their first night together. Once bitten, LENA discovers the curse and the blessing of her new, eternal life. She revels in the glamour, parties and infinite freedom. But she quickly discovers that the endless blood thirst and murderous appetite of her new girlfriends come at a steep price. When Berlin police commissioner TOM SERNER (Max Riemelt) begins investigating the women, it is just a matter of time before their day comes and events spiral out of control.
